As Unitarian Universalists, we tend to use or hear “tradition” in specific contexts. We say we are part of a “liberal religious tradition”, or that we are part of a “living tradition” because we are always on a path of learning new truths. Like other religious and secular groups, we also use the word “tradition” to talk about some of the things that we do that are recurring and done in an expected way. On this Sunday, our annual tradition promises to deliver a deeply spiritual experience and the passionate sharing of some of the science behind why participating in traditions is good for our overall wellbeing.
***Please bring a small amount of water from your summer adventures to pour into the communion bowl. As always, if you have forgotten to collect or bring water, we will have some available for you to use representing the water that you experienced over the summer.***
