Throughout our UU “universe”, the theme of the month is “Paying Attention.” Mindfulness requires attention and intention. So does the silencing of women’s voices—it has long been a cultural habit. In this pivotal political moment, I find myself noticing women’s voices rising—singing, supporting, resisting. With examples of each, I invite us into a moment of stillness to listen deeply, to pay attention deliberately, and to hear the voices of women.
