The UUSG Social Action Committee organized a successful fundraising effort by selling “We Believe…” signs and donating the $250 proceeds to Gardner’s Community Action Center. The Center provides many services to economically disadvantaged individuals in Greater Gardner, including the healthy food, fuel assistance, medical transportation and more. You can donate directly to the CAC at their website—doing so is helping and strengthening our community and supporting a local organization at the same time. Once we are back in person, members of the social action committee are planning to organize food drives to the CAC in a new and exciting format designed to allow more of us to participate more easily.
